Wisely Group (Wisely) is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a significant contract by the North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) for the Middle Breakwater Pipeline Relocation project. The project involves upgrading the supply pipelines that service Wharf 1 Berth at the Mackay Harbour.
The project is set to commence in early April and be completed by January 2025. The existing pipelines are crucial in carrying various resources, including diesel, ethanol, fire water, and potable water. The project’s primary objective is to enhance the overall infrastructure by upgrading aging infrastructure and ensuring the longevity of the pipeline system.
In addition to the pipeline relocation, Wisely Group will oversee the relocation of the electrical services integrated with the pipeline runs. Wisely is committed to delivering this project in collaboration with its valued local contracting partners, leveraging our expertise in Port infrastructure development and project management.
