Situated in Queensland’s resource-rich Bowen Basin, Peak Downs is Australia’s largest coal mine by reserves.
Wisely was engaged by BMA Peak Downs Mine to fabricate, protectively coat, and install a purpose-built walkway
and staircase for the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). The project was delivered end-to-end by our workshop team, ensuring the final solution met site-specific access, safety, and durability requirements.
By managing the fabrication, assembly, and coating inhouse, Wisely maintained quality control and reduced
interfaces for the client, resulting in a safe, fit-for-purpose access solution that was installed efficiently with minimal
disruption to operations.
