By reserves, Saraji Mine in Queensland’s Bowen Basin is the fourth largest coal mine in Australia. During a major shutdown, Wisely carried out major structural upgrades to the mine’s train load out facility, including:
- Upgraded wear plates and the external bin structure
- Removal of the clam shell doors for overhaul
- Bin head structure replacement
- Bin gantry connection replacement.
Completed within a five-week shutdown program, the works were delivered safely and efficiently, extending the reliability of critical infrastructure and supporting ongoing production at Saraji Mine.
