Wisely worked with Daltug to deliver a custom solution to remove and replace large propellers from their Mackay-based tug vessels during maintenance.
In the past, maintenance teams relied on a complicated arrangement of rigging equipment to support the propeller below the tug. This method was time-consuming and carried additional safety risks.
To address this, Wisely collaborated with Daltug to design and fabricate a custom lifting jig. The solution streamlined the removal and installation of propellers, improved efficiency and significantly reduced risks to personnel.
Delivered in Mackay, the project demonstrates Wisely’s capability to engineer tailored solutions that enhance safety and performance in marine maintenance operations.
