Situated in Queensland’s resource-rich Bowen Basin, Peak Downs is Australia’s largest coal mine by reserves. During a major shutdown, Wisely was engaged to deliver essential repairs and upgrades to maintain the reliability of the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) including:
- Replacement of shaker screens
- Replacement of gearbox and pulleys
- Minor repairs and maintenance works.
Delivered over a 6-week program, the works extended the service life of critical CHPP assets and supported the continued performance of one of the country’s most significant mining operations.
