The JJ’s Waste & Recycling Hay Point depot is located in the Alligator Creek area about 40 kilometres south of Mackay.
Wisely was engaged by JJ’s Waste & Recycling for works at the Hay Point Quarantine Facility to design, fabricate, and install integrated guarding for the site’s autoclave machinery.
The project was delivered end‑to‑end by Wisely’s workshop and site teams, incorporating customised design solutions to meet strict operational, safety, and biosecurity requirements.
The guarding system was engineered to provide robust operator protection while maintaining full accessibility for
maintenance and inspection tasks.
With all components fabricated in‑house to ensure precise fitment and high‑quality workmanship. Installation was completed efficiently and in alignment with facility operations, resulting in a durable, compliant, and fit‑for‑purpose guarding solution that supports safe and reliable autoclave performance within the quarantine environment.
