The Blackwater open cut coal mine is one of the largest producing metallurgical coal mines in Queensland.
Wisely was engaged by BMA Blackwater Mine to supply and fabricate a series of high‑wall pump skids fitted with
high‑wear skid plates to support ongoing dewatering and site water management activities.
The skids were manufactured in‑house by Wisely’s workshop team, ensuring precise fabrication, robust construction, and full compliance with BMA’s engineering and safety requirements.
The inclusion of high‑wear skid plates provided enhanced durability and extended service life in the demanding high‑wall operating environment, where equipment is exposed to abrasive materials and heavy usage.
Through streamlined production and quality‑controlled processes, the pump skids were delivered on schedule, providing BMA with a reliable, fit‑for‑purpose solution that supports safe and efficient water management across the Blackwater mining operations.
