The Port of Abbot Point is Australia’s most northern coal export port and one with remarkable potential for trade growth.
Wisely was engaged by Abbot Point Operations (APO) to deliver the end‑to‑end fabrication, protective coating, and
installation of conveyor take‑up access platforms at the Port of Abbot Point.
The project was completed entirely in‑house by Wisely’s workshop and site teams, allowing full quality control across fabrication, coating, and assembly while reducing the need for third‑party interfaces. This streamlined approach ensured efficient scheduling, clear communication, and consistent delivery from workshop production through to site installation.
The final access platforms were designed and constructed to meet site‑specific safety, access, and durability requirements and were installed with minimal disruption to port operations, resulting in a safe, durable, and fit‑for‑purpose solution for APO.
