Saraji Mine is one of the largest open cut coal mines in Queensland’s resource-rich Bowen Basin. Wisely provides ongoing structural remedial services across key operational areas of the site, including the Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP), Train Load Out (TLO), Run Of Mine (ROM) facilities, workshops and supporting infrastructure.
Within this remit, Wisely’s permanent rostered crews provide the following services:
- Asset integrity scoping
- Structural remediation
- Quality assurance processes
- Maintenance tasks.
The team comprises up to 20 skilled personnel, including boilermakers, fitters, riggers, welders and electricians. Additional support is provided in supervision, planning, scaffolding, blasting and painting, as well as both onsite and offsite component fabrication.
Wisely also supplies essential equipment such as welding units, blast and paint systems and trucks. Offsite fabrication from Wisely’s Mackay workshop reduces costs and risks associated with steel processing while improving efficiency for onsite installation.
By combining an expert onsite workforce with workshop support, Wisely is strengthening the asset integrity of Saraji Mine and ensuring its operations remain safe, efficient and cost-effective.
