Wisely was engaged by Whitehaven Coal to deliver structural upgrades and repairs during a major shutdown at the Blackwater Mine Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), including:
- Structural upgrades to the reject bin and ROM bin
- Repairs to the raw coal handling infrastructure (e.g. chutes, conveyors, support steelwork)
- Targeted maintenance and reinforcement of critical structural elements.
Delivered within a four-week shutdown period, the project required careful sequencing and collaboration to complete works efficiently and safely within the outage window.
