- Meet the Stansbie Brothers
Jake and Riley, two Heavy Diesel Fitters working side by side at Glencore Rolleston Mine. Jake brings a few years’ experience, while Riley recently completed his trade, but together they’ve hit their stride as a dynamic duo in the HME Workshop. With complementary styles and a shared commitment to doing the job right, they’re already making a strong impact on site.
As second-generation miners, the brothers share a deep passion for heavy equipment and take real pride in keeping operations running smoothly. FIFO life isn’t always easy – but working on the same crew has made all the difference. From travelling together to sharing meals and days off, their story is a reminder that when family, support and purpose come together, great things follow.
